A question I get asked often when delivering Mailchimp training is where to find the link to sent Mailchimp campaign emails (i.e. archives). This is one of those things that is really useful if you want to include a link on your website to past issues of your email newsletters. Fortunately this is really simple as Mailchimp keeps all your sent Campaigns easily accessible.
Follow these simple instructions to find the link to your Campaign archive:
- Log into Mailchimp.
- Click Campaigns.
- Next to (or under) your Campaign you’ll see a button called Sent Campaign or View Report or Edit (the wording depends on the type of Campaign). Click the down arrow to the right of the words.
- Click View email.
- You’ll now see an email that was sent as part of your Campaign. Click Past Issues which is near the top of the screen.
- You are now seeing a list (archive) of sent Campaigns. The link to the archive will be in your Internet Browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer etc.) address bar.
That’s all there is to it. Contact me if you need help with Mailchimp (see our listing as Australian experts on Mailchimp) 🙂
Do you know if there is a way of the making the archive on your website come up with a picture or a block rather than just a list?
@Peta, unfortunately not that I know of 🙁
Do you know how to access all campaigns sent? I can only ever get the last 20 sent campaigns to appear in this archive list.
Hello Gary, I’m a mailchimp novice. Kind of you to offer assistance. I’m trying to find the mailing list I used on each of 3 sent campaigns. For the 2nd campaign I added a few extra names, more names for the 3rd. I can find the final (total) list (for the 3rd) but not the previous lists for campaigns 1 & 2. (I want to send previous campaigns to new names but don’t want to be resending campaigns to names who’ve already received them).
Any assistance would be hugely appreciated.
Thank you
Hi Edward,
You’ll get what you want by creating a segment from your list. When creating the segment, choose ‘Campaign activity’ as the subscriber data, then ‘was sent’ then choose your campaign/s.
Similar to Lorraine, I can only ever get the last 20 sent campaigns to appear in this archive list. Is there a way to show all?
